Well I made it to Days of Knights 2.0, had to be better than the first one honestly. I camped out in a tent owned by a viking reenactor who befriended me. I quite enjoyed doing all this, I got tons of pics of it I will be posting up the best ones. Needless to say this was the best medieval event I ever went to, mostly due to the fact I knew most the people, and it was more relaxed as I knew most the people there. I also had a much better kit than I did in 2012 which it worked out pretty well cept the maille chausses which I am currently working on converting to full leg ones so I can put them on easier. I will be getting my first next generation Albion Sword, I decided to purchase the Reeve, as it has the distinctive brazil nut pommel which was common in Germanic areas of Europe. I may be reenacting the late 13th century but Germanic areas of Europe held onto the older designs more, and personally I prefer the look of older weapons to more modern looking ones. http://www.myarmoury.com/review_alb_reeve.html That is how it looks cept mine is going to have a red grip instead of black.
